Our History

The club is the brain child of a few dedicated individuals from the business and professional community of Calicut. They felt the need to have an institution to cater to the social, cultural and recreational needs of their community members at an affordable cost with first class facilities and decided to start a club which can satisfy all in one place. Nine plots which contiguously measured around 3.5 acres were acquired near the Calicut District Collector’s Office and the Club was named as The Exclusive Club and registered as a Society under Societies Registration Act on 30th of April 1993.The Club has grown now to a one of the best Clubs in the Malabar region with about 1100 members and growing who form the cream of this city’s business and professional community.

Memberships

Any individual who is more than 21 years of age can opt to become a member of this club. The application shall be proposed and seconded by existing members of not less than 5 year standing and submitted to the Club Secretary who shall place the same before the Managing Committee for its approval.
